Yotsuya-sanchōme: "Tokyo Kappō Terunari"

COMMENT

Perhaps because we serve dishes that skillfully fuse Japanese cuisine with French cooking, we're complimented on being easy to use when entertaining guests from overseas. Right now, I hope to help my staff grow, build relationships of trust, and eventually become a restaurant group. And I'd like to become a restaurant loved across three generations of guests and also well regarded by true food connoisseurs.

Restaurant information

Restaurant information

  1. The restaurant seats 34 in total. In addition to counter seating, table seating accommodates up to 16 guests, and there are also private rooms for parties of 3 to 6.

  2. Exit Yotsuya-sanchome subway station and head along Gaien Higashi-dori toward Akebonobashi. Continue along the road, and shortly after passing the Yotsuya-sanchome-kita intersection, a shop with a large white noren curtain comes into view on the left. This is "Tokyo Kappo Terunari." Head chef Tokumoto set his sights on becoming a cook after his family was delighted by a dish he made as a child. After training at French and Japanese restaurants around Tokyo, he went to France to gain further experience. On returning to Japan, he met owner Murata, and, sharing his vision for "Tokyo Kappo" — a casual kappo restaurant offering dishes a typical Japanese restaurant could not — the two opened the current restaurant together.
